This quilt pattern was inspired by a quilt (circa 1830 – 40) attributed to the Brontë sisters; Charlotte, Anne and Emily.
The majority of the quilt is made from small pieces of fabric, which lends itself to be constructed from fat quarters and smaller fabric scraps. This pattern has a great opportunity for the use of ‘fussy cutting’ for the lovers of this techniques. This pattern encompasses the use of applique, machine and hand piecing in the English method over papers.
The spiral bound work book includes full size templates for applique and papers dfor piecing. It is extremely detailed as are all of our patterns to enable the quiltmaker to create a quilt of which to be proud.
